People compare themselves to others
We often try to emulate what doesn't come naturally to us instead of developing what we already do well.
about StrengthsFinder
StrengthsFinder is a personality test that reveals how you think, make decisions, and interact with others. It helps you see your natural strengths and understand how to use them at work, on a team, and elsewhere in life to achieve better results.
We often try to emulate what doesn't come naturally to us instead of developing what we already do well.
If team members do not understand each other's strengths, conflicts, misunderstandings, and ineffective collaboration arise.
Companies often plan development solely based on market or financial data, rather than based on people's strengths.
StrengthsFinder training helps you see and unlock your existing potential
StrengthsFinder is a test developed by the American company Gallup that helps identify and develop a person's natural strengths.
It is based on research on human motivation and behavior, identifying 34 different strengths that create a unique combination of human talents.
Unlike traditional tests, StrengthsFinder does not try to find weaknesses.
It helps to understand:
The "15% reality gap" refers to a massive disconnect between how self-aware people believe they are versus how self-aware they actually are. According to research by organizational psychologist Dr. Tasha Eurich, while 95% of people think they are self- aware, only 10% to 15% possess sufficient self-awareness.
This highlights a profound gap between our perceived emotional awareness and the truth. Furthermore, people are not especially reliable judges of their own competence. Research indicates that the correlation between people's self-perceived competence and their actual competence is less than 30%.
We often think we know ourselves, but in reality our perception is incomplete.
That is why the StrengthsFinder approach helps you objectively see your strengths and understand how they manifest themselves at work and in everyday life.

Our strengths are largely related to the activities that bring us satisfaction.
For example, there are people who are very focused on completing various tasks during the day. They evaluate how well the day went by how much they got done. On the other hand, for relationship people, the most important thing is the process, the quality of the conversations, not the number of tasks completed during the day.
The test results help to understand how much a person can do, the reasons for these activities, as well as analyze in which environment and context it will be added value, and in which environment it is better to let others do their work.
In 2002, Billy Beane, the manager of the Oakland Athletics baseball team, concluded that his team could not compete with the rich teams that, due to their huge financial resources, could buy the best players.
They could only afford ordinary players who were good at only a few functions of the game. Given these circumstances, he selected players with a pronounced strong side, and built a team with a variety of players who had different strengths.
As a result, this team won 20 games in a row.
Based on these events, the film “Moneyball” was made in 2011.
Like a car, every strong side has two sides - it can be both the gas and the brake
In the right situation, it helps achieve great results - like a gas pedal that pushes you forward.
However, in another situation, the same trait can become a hindrance if used incorrectly or excessively.
