Experience

Study and internship in the USA

During my studies in the USA, while writing my master's thesis, I studied various tools that help to accurately assess the situation and make quality management decisions.

It was during this time that I became acquainted with the StrengthsFinder approach developed by the company “Gallup”. This method helps to clearly name a person's strengths and understand how to use them in practice. For more than 10 years, I have been using StrengthsFinder in my work with managers, teams and organizations.

Working with organizations and companies

I am one of the few Gallup trainers in the Baltics who professionally works with the StrengthsFinder methodology.

Over the years, I have led training and development programs for companies and organizations in Latvia and Europe, helping teams better understand their potential and improve cooperation.

The companies I have worked with appreciate this approach as an effective way to develop communication in the team, create a clearer distribution of roles, and use people's strengths in organizational development.

Personal story

When I was in elementary school, my class teacher made conclusions about my abilities and future based on how well I did in school. Unfortunately, this is how the school system still works – some of our strengths are highlighted, others are not noticed and appreciated, thus making a wrong judgment about us from childhood.

If we do not find resistance within ourselves to what others say about who we are, we can be directed to completely the wrong place, do things that do not suit us, and therefore feel discomfort and dissatisfaction with life, because we do not bring any great added value to those around us.

Until I was about 21 years old, I was constantly pointed out what I could not do, instead of highlighting what I could do. Others tried to define who I was, but inside I did not agree with it, I felt that I could do much more. It was an internal struggle – to move from one school to another, to go to university. Even my parents were against it, because they didn’t believe I could do it. In the end, I graduated from not one university, but two!

My life story has influenced the fact that I am now a consultant, coach and mentor. My mission is to help others understand themselves, realize what they were given from birth, how they can develop it to fulfill their life mission.
