A method that provides a common language and clarity about the distribution of work tasks and energy in everyday life.

Understand your “work geniuses”

Identify areas where you have the most energy and where you naturally contribute the most.

Recognize what drains you

Understand the areas that most often cause fatigue and "suck" energy and joy.

Organize team collaboration

Introduce a simple working language and differences that can finally be discussed clearly and without misunderstanding.

When you understand what inspires you at work and what exhausts you, it becomes easier to make decisions and distribute tasks meaningfully

What is Working Genius?

Working Genius is a model that helps people discover their natural gifts and better understand how they work most effectively.

Created by Patrick Lencioni and "The Table Group", it can be applied to individuals, teams and organizations.

  • The assessment is simple and quick
  • Receive personalized analysis with “Genius / Competency / Frustration” and practical application
  • The model provides a structure for how an idea progresses to execution (WIDGET)

Why can work be exhausting even if you're "good" at it?

Working Genius distinguishes three zones: “genius,” “competence,” and “frustration.” Two areas give energy and joy (Working Geniuses), two areas are the most tiring and create “misery” (Working Frustrations), and the remaining two are areas where you are capable and can do without much resistance (Working Competencies).

The goal is not to “not cause” frustrations, the goal is to recognize them and manage them wisely (divide, support, structure).

When you understand your energy zones, it becomes easier to divide tasks, ask for support, and create a more sustainable work rhythm.

Working geniuses and WIDGET logic

WIDGET is an acronym for six work “geniuses” that together create a workflow from recognizing a need to executing it.

Wonder (W)

Sees a need for improvement or change

Invention (I)

Generates an idea or solution in response to that need

Discernment (D)

Evaluate the quality of the idea and “will it work"

Galvanizing (G)

Creates energy, engagement and movement around an idea (drives action)

Enablement (E)

Assists in implementation, supports and removes obstacles in the implementation process

Tenacity (T)

Ensures completion and “takes it all the way

What does this mean in practice?

After the assessment, you receive a report with insights and a practical application section that you can use immediately - both individually and in a team.

  • Clearer division of tasks according to energy and strength zones
  • Fewer “blind spots” in cooperation because there is a common language
  • It is easier to notice which WIDGET stages are missing or "limping" in the team
